locked as in frozen?

start PC, turn it off again (or hit reset button) just as windows starts to load. do this on 3 starts in a row and it should load auto repair
once it completes, choose advanced option
choose troubleshoot
choose advanced options
choose startup repair

another option is run system restore
follow same steps as above and on the 2nd advanced options screen, choose system restore
choose the most recent date and system will roll back to that date and perhaps fix this

How long has this happened? did you get any updates before it started? install any software?
