AHCI not enabled, M2 optane is

I know when I originally installed win10 to the Samsung 960 EVO NVME SSD. But now when I go to the bios, it says optane genie/raid is enabled instead and Samsung Magician no longer works.
Isn't ahci better for this ssd drive. I have tried switching it in the bios with no luck. I am also unable to reinstall the Samsung NVME driver.

Ok so in device manager, it says this under IDE ATA/ATAPI controllers;
Currently, this hardware device is not connected to the computer. (Code 45)
The device is the Samsung EVO 960 M.2.
I have shut down the PC, pulled it out & reseated, same thing.
