Just installed windows but needed a gpu driver so I used the disc that came with the flu but now my computer freezes everytime I try to log in/boot
CPU:AMD anthlon x4 880k
Video card: MSI GeForce GTX 1050 AERO ITX 2G OC
Motherboard: MSI a78m-e35
You could try booting in safe mode and seeing how far you get. turn your pc off while booting multiple times and windows will bring up a menu where you can get to safe mode.
you also could try taking out gpu, booting using integrated graphics (if you have them), and removing the driver.
hmm. if you boot into safe mode with networking try to install the nvidia driver from the internet. the geforce experience program allows you to download drivers, record gameplay, and change other settings from one app.

Didn’t work, still getting the freezing. It’s probably a hardware issue

Very well could be. If you have a spare GPU lying around I would try using that or your pc's integrated graphics if you have them. It may boot then. If this does work I would call the manufacturer of your card and ask for a replacement under warranty.
Where did you buy the card from? Not to say you got scammed, however, some retailers on sites like eBay send out fake GPUs that have this problem where the scam card is not compatible with the new drivers, thus crashing when they get used.
