Migrating OS creates multiple partitions

Hi!

I'm going to use the SSD on my laptop on a new computer but want to migrate the OS and all the apps and settings to the original laptop HDD.

However, when I do it with MiniTool Partition Wizard I notice it creates multiple partitions.
I did this before (not migrating OS but Copy Disk option) and after it's done when I open "My Computer" there are several partitions available instead of only one...

How do I solve this?

The other partitions were always there.
They just didn't have drive letters.

One (big) mistake you made, very common...not removing the old drive before you powered up with the new drive.
That's why those drive letters came into being.

It's still booting up from the old drive.
What should have been the new C partition...the OS...was given the G drive letter. And all the other partitions were given drive letters as well.

If at all possible, redo the whole operation.

Specific steps for a successful clone operation:
-----------------------------
Verify the actual used space on the current drive is significantly below the size of the new SSD
Download and install Macrium Reflect (or Samsung Data Migration, if a Samsung...

-----------------------------
Verify the actual used space on the current drive is significantly below the size of the new SSD
Download and install Macrium Reflect (or Samsung Data Migration, if a Samsung SSD)
Power off
Disconnect ALL drives except the current C and the new SSD
Power up
Run the Macrium Reflect (or Samsung Data Migration)
Select ALL the partitions on the existing C drive
Click the 'Clone' button
Wait until it is done
When it finishes, power off
Disconnect ALL drives except for the new SSD
This is to allow the system to try to boot from ONLY the SSD
Swap the SATA cables around so that the new drive is connected to the same SATA port as the old drive
Power up, and verify the BIOS boot order
If good, continue the power up

It should boot from the new drive, just like the old drive.
Maybe reboot a time or two, just to make sure.

If it works, and it should, all is good.

Later, reconnect the old drive and wipe as necessary.
Delete the 450MB Recovery Partition, here:

That refers to stuff on the old drive.
That generally can't be removed just in Disk Management.
