I am tiring to run the sfc /scannow in a CMD window as an admin. I am the only user and the only admin on the system. In the CDM window I get "you must be an administrator running a console session order to use the sfc utility" ??
I don't think this is a situation that is exactly trying to bypass security as it can be other issues. You can provide help without mentioning anything related to security like that link.
When you said you are running cmd as an admin, there is a difference between just opening cmd vs selecting "run as admin" or cmd (admin). It's not about just being admin but a different option to run cmd.

Please explain what worked so others who may search will see the solution.
Opened the Start, down to the Windows System. right clicked on the Command Prompt put the mouse pointer on the More then clicked on the Run As Administrator. Was able to run the sfc from there.
Ok so like I thought, you just weren't running cmd as admin. You can also right click the start button which has cmd and cmd admin, as well as other quick links to goodies.
