Now that intel has announced their 9th gen cpus can we expect to see some good deals for the 8700k?

Hey guys, I was wondering if you all think there will be any good deals in the near future for the 8700k now that intel has announced their 9th gen cpus? Maybe around black friday?

No, probably not. Decent deals maybe, but nothing "good"
The 8700k still sells well, and by the time it dosent, stocks will be so low that they can keep prices high.

Doubt it, there may be alittle sale from the retailers to push old inventory but Intel has a bad habit of keep their prices up on older stuff.

You rarely ever see them go on sale, at best you could probably save $10-$30 on a CPU/MB/RAM bundle at Microcenter or Newegg.

It's Intel. Nope. 7700k prices didn't really drop much when the 8700k came out.

You *might* see Microcenter throw a deal around Black Friday. And you might see Ryzen 2000 series dip a little bit.
