Does resetting Windows 10 affect the BIOS version?

Hello!

I have a quick question. I've been experiencing some problems with my PC and I decided to do a reset through the Windows 10 option under "Recovery". I chose the options that will erase all files from both of my drives and then clean them before reinstalling Windows 10. However, will this affect my BIOS flash? I flashed it a while back and I usually don't like to flash the BIOS often because I've heard it can brick the motherboard (I know it's rare, but it can still happen). So will resetting my PC to factory settings make me have to flash my BIOS again or will the BIOS version be the same as it was before the reset?

Nope , it doesn't affect your BIOS Flash.
BIOS version will stay the same.

Resetting windows will not affect the BIOS. I did this all the time when reinstalling Windows, and the BIOS is completely unaffected. Just make sure your boot order is set to the drive with windows installed. Be sure to backup your data before resetting though!
