rtx 2080 for 1440p ultrawide gaming

Ive orderd my new pc with Ryzen 2700x and Rtx 2080, and now I'm looking for a new monitor.
Local shop recommended me those monitors:
ASUS PG348Q 34'' Ultra-wide (3440x1440) 100Hz-(OC) G-SYNC
ACER Predator 34'' X34P 120Hz (OC) 4ms IPS G-SYNC
Do you think its worth to buy an 1440p ultrawide sceen for bigger future support? or should i stick to the 1440p 2k ASUS 27'' PG279Q for example.
Never played higher then 60hz nor ultrawide screen.

i got the AOC AGON AG352UCG 3440x1440 Gsync monitor and i freaking love it, not a single issue and WAY less backlight bleed than the other 2 you had mentioned. look into it, cheaper and on par if not better than the other 2.
