Advise on monitors.

Hi,

Was looking for advise on monitors. Ive been thinking about the ASUS PG348Q.

MY comp specs are

32gb RAM
GTX 1070
AMD ryzen 1300x

Would it run well given my hardware?

Only if you are using it from about 1 metre from your eyes, it would look half decent.
Your CPU is the limiting factor in gaming performance, but should still be decent enough.

hey, thanks for getting back so quick!

With the nature of my room set up, its not big enough for an actual computer desk, therefore I'm further away from the screen than most PC gamer's.

Truth be told I also like the look of the PG279Q but i just feel 27" will be too small, especially as I'm currently used to using a 32" HDTV.

I'm probably about 1 metre away at the moment.

I intend to update my CPU in 2020 as AMD have confirmed that they'll make CPU's compatible with the AM4 socket up until then.
