It comes [strike]about under[/strike] a bit over $1000.00 USD
This is it so far, and I heard I do not need sound card and am not planning on using wifi. I want to use it as a dual monitor using either displayport or HDMI port. I won't be playing any games that are extremely demanding (PUBG, Fortnite, and etc)

Some questions:
[strike]-Does 2.5in SSD and 3.5in HD size matters? or do I need to get a mount for the SSD?
-Does Full Tower matter when using miniATX motherboard?[/strike]
-I want to use SSD to boot and play games, while HDD is used for movies and downloads such as other software and etc or is SSHD a better option?

Please feel free to comment about anything that I have posted.
I am sure that it will be a big help whether the comment is neg or pos when building my first gaming desktop.

Thank you for reading this long post and thanks guys for your feedback

Thank you very much for the input
I looked up 1060 but there are 6 types of Gigabyte GeForce 1060 6 gb, which do you think would best match my build?

Boost Clock 1771 MHz, Boost Clock 1847 MHz,
AORUS-Boost Clock 1860 MHz, AROUS-Boost Clock 1873 MHz
Boost Clock 1797 MHz, Boost Clock 1873 MHz

and lastly why would it be a better match for the current CPU?
I have no idea when it comes to CPU and GPU,
I have picked out the GPU based on the games/software I run
and CPU I picked I5 because I was told I5 is average. Was told I3 was pointless, I7 and I9 would be overkill.
Again thanks!

This would be a great 1080p 60fps gaming rig :

You can decide on the cooler later if you don't like the stock cooler.

Thank you for the advice,
I am kind of new to the whole building desktop and am not very familiar with AMD CPUs and Radeon GPUs,
will there be any difference when switching from Intel to AMD and Gtx to Radeon?

nVidia to Radeon is almost a no-brainer. Remove the software drivers for one, shut down, remove current card, install new card, power on, then install drivers for the new card.

Intel to AMD (or vice versa) would be much more difficult, as that would also require a motherboard change.

thanks!
so if I were to ask? which would be preferred for GPU (quality wise) or do they serve different purpose?
and Radeon is only from AMD but Gtx are from EVGA, Gigabyte, zotac and etc.
if I were to pick Radeon? would it work better with AMD Cpu since they are the same brand?

also do people just prefer AMD over Intel or vice versa because they are used to it?
I read some articles about AMD saying that its cheaper than Intel and as of now are not quite up to the specs compared to Intel and I'm afraid to say that as of now I have never used a computer with AMD cpu.

I'm sorry for the chain of questions but what you said made me think even more about CPU and GPU before I heard about AMD Radeon.

Thanks for your time and also thanks again for the clarification on the CPU and GPU

Asus, sapphire, xfx, gigabyte, msi also make Radeon cards. Just like the Asus one I posted in my part list.

As of now, both the i5 and ryzen 5 are capable of 1080p 60fps. Both the rx580 and gtx 1060 are capable of 1080p 60fps. So choose intel/amd/Nvidia, u can't go wrong.

I choose amd cuz it's cheaper than Nvidia and Intel. And also cuz a freesync 1080p 75hz monitor costs cheaper and works great with rx580 and also comes with ips panels.

thanks I will definitely look into AMD cpu and gpu!

Are you going to overclock? You will get better performance with intel chips with those games as they are optimized for Intel's ring bus architecture and Intel's 1+ghz boost clocks over AMD. I usually tell people if you are going for 144hz or higher refresh rate, it's intel or bust at 1080p. For 1440p the difference between AMD and Intel is less noticeable, but Intel still comes on top. However at 4k the graphics card is the limiting factor so there is no difference between the processors. What is your monitors resolution and refresh rate?

Thank you for the feedback
As for overclocking, I don't think I will overclock it because I haven't done any overclocking and I am afraid I will mess it up for end up overheating the CPU resulting in tears flowing down my cheeks
I am working on the monitors now, I dont think I will be going 144hz or higher refresh rate since I wont be able to tell the difference. Just thinking of 23-27in dual screen and mostly playing game on one screen while leaving one or two tabs of chrome on other side.
