What a great forum Tom’s hardware has! I’m interested in getting a 27 inch monitor for the larger image. I understand that to get the benefit of a larger monitor a person really needs to get one that has 2560 x 1440 resolution. I play a couple of single player games, primarily Battlefield 1. My PC is using an Nvidia 1060 3 GB card. My question is whether or not the video card I have is sufficient to give good results with a monitor that size. Thanks for your help!

Nah, I am using a 1080p 27" dell monitor, really enjoyed it. I won't recommend playing BF1 with 1060 3gb @ 1440p. If you want 60 fps, you need to put on low settings which will look much worse than 1080p high-ultra imo.
