Win 10 from pirated to original

I have win 10 pro pirated, and I want to buy the original win 10 pro. Will I need to reboot all my pc and start all again?

Click the Start button and select Settings to open the Settings app. Then navigate to Update & Security > Activation.

Parts of the OS were cracked/broken which could still leave you vulnerable to attacks(malware/ransomware). Just changing the key will not fix this. Best option is a clean install.

TBH, I have never seen a 10 install be "really" pirated. I have seen where you can suppress the notification to register. I haven't really looked at that aspect in a while, but recall that a part of what Microsoft liked about 10 is that you couldn't work bootstrap loaders on it to bypass registration. It could have come a long way....

If you are on a simple unregistered version and using an app to suppress, just uninstall that app and put in your key.
If it is "truly" a pirated version, then a full install as recommended.

This depends on HOW you obtained this OS..

TBH, I have never seen a 10 install be "really" pirated.

There are a few methods, a couple of which bring along truly nasty malware.
