Hello
To cut it short, I upgraded my pc from an Asus M5A97 R2.0 and AMD FX 6350 to an Asus Z170 - A with a core i5 6600k.
I have the same ssd and same windows installation and same files. I've activated windows successfully by entering my win 7 product key (since I upgraded from win 7)
What I'm having trouble with is Microsoft Office. I have the standalone DSA version of office professional 2013. My product key doesn't work. It says that it's been activated the maximum number of times I. E. Its still in use.
What is the best way to get around this? Note I tried uninstalling and reinstalling office to no avail.
I'm thinking of swapping my mobo back, uninstalling office, then swapping back to the new one and reinstalling? Will that fix it?
Or should I follow this https://support.office.com/en-us/article/manually-uninstall-office-4e2904ea-25c8-4544-99ee-17696bb3027b?ui=en-US&rs=en-US&ad=US#OfficeVersion=Office_2013
