Yeah, I have an Xbox one S. The problem is the HDMI is not supporting 120hz because I think of my monitor's HDMI doesn't support it, only DVI or VGA supports 120 hz or 144hz. I'm asking if the HDMI to DVI converter would work.

I would like to add.

You need I think an HDMI 2.0 cable. The more common HDMI 1.4 cables won't support 1080p at 120hz. Version 2.0 supports 1080p at 144hz and 4k at 60hz. And version 2.1 supports 10k at 120hz.

If your TV/Monitor does support 120hz and you know you have an HDMI 2.0 cable then it's possible the HDMI on the TV/Monitor is a 1.4 port. In that case find a way to switch to Display Port.

Disregard all of the other posts! It is possible utilizing the hardware from the link below. I own the monitor and an xbox one x, and have successfully implemented 120 hz today.
