Why Tom's Hardware does not like Edge Browser: Unable to login

In addition to other issues with the forum on Edge (right panel does not render properly), recently I can't login into TH using Edge.

Windows 10 18.03 (Build 17134,345, most up-to-date). When "Welcome back: Login form is displayed, and correct user name / password are entered, a small dialog box pops up "Unable to configure verification page", which then blows back to "Welcome Back" form.

This happens on me on second computer. First one is running Insider Editions, so I attributed this to new Edge version, but now it happens on standard Windows installation.

I am typing this on that same computer but using IE 11. FF and Chrome also work properly, so it's a problem with Edge only.

Please check your firewall and any possible extensions. We are unable to reproduce any of the bugs you described on Edge.
