Win 10 pro getting installed everytime in place of home

While reinstalling windows in hope of increse the speed of laptop i accedently installed windows10 pro on my laptop that came with 10 home single language. Now even after downloading the installer package of windows 10 basic from Microsoft site i am ending up with windows pro installed on my pc. What shoud i do as i have key of home version only where will i get home SINGLE LANGUAGE VERSION.

did you do a clean install and select windows home single language on screen where it asks what version?

if you did clean there shouldn't be anyway you are getting pro if your licence is for home.

Yes i did that but after installation its same 10 pro

I would suggest you download with the Windows Media Creation Tool from Microsoft and make sure you have the home and language correct.

Assuming you haven't done that already ;D

Is windows 10 activating?
have a look in settings/update & security/activation
If its activated, somehow your key has become a Pro key

Otherwise I would contact Microsoft as I don't understand how that can happen. If win 10 had Home single language on it before and your key is for Home, it shouldn't load Pro.
