Im about to buy my first 144hz monitor , i need a help

Hey guys , i finshid my rig before 2 monthes and every think is ok ,
My rig is
Gtx 1070 g1
I5 7500
16gb ram
750w psu from sesocinc
I just heard from alot of people that the real gaming experince must be in 144hz monitor , i want to buy one , i plau jusy on 1080p alot of games , i just want to ask is it warth to buy new 144 hz monitor , btw i saw one from samsung 23.5 inch and 144hz and curved , please help
