Computer not responding

I haven’t used my computer in about a month or two and when starting it back up nothing is responsive. At first I was able to sign in and the mouse was lagging then I couldn’t open any programs and now it doesn’t even get passed sign in

if it an older pc see if the cmos battery went bad. if it did then windows cant set any of the bios/hardware settings at post. try taking your pc down to onboard video and one ram stick.
