not sure which one is better. Maybe someone can help:
AOC Q3279VWFD8 https://www.displayspecifications.com/en/model/27b913e5
PROS: 10 bit panel, great reviews, 70% adobeRGB, $250
CONS: 31.5", No VESA, 75hz

Acer VG270UP https://www.displayspecifications.com/en/model/a95114cb
PROS: 144hz, HDMI 2, VESA mount, 27"
CONS: 8 bit panel, less gamut coverage, $450

I'm running a Sapphire Nitro+ RX580. I'm a film artist/ illustrator and sometimes use computer for personal projects so 10bit is a great+. But I've also been getting into BO4 recently and playing a lot (not sure how long this COD bing will last). Is the 144hz really worth it? or is the 10 bit panel better?

Any advice would be helpful.

thanks. I think your right. I'll check my fps when I play tonight.
Whats the relationship exactly between hz and fps? do I have to hit 144 fps to take full advantage of freesync 144hz?

In the most basic description a 144hz monitor can display up to 144fps. A 75hz monitor can display up to 75hz. So basically if you're playing a game and its playing at 100fps but your monitor is only 75 hz you're only seeing 75fps physically. You don't need to hit 144fps because with freesync you can take advantage of any frame rate in between, and clearly 100 or 120 is better than 60 or 75.

Freesync (and gsync) keeps the framerate in tune with the monitor's abilities which keeps everything smooth and cuts down on stutter, screen tearing, etc.
