So I am looking for a motherboard to power my system.

I was originally planning to go for the Tomahawk, but I noticed the X370-Pro was on sale for the same price as the tomahawk. This made me have to decide which one to go between the two.

I plan to pair the motherboard with a Ryzen 7 1700X. I don't plan to do SLI/Crossfire. I plan to do slight OC, but that 1700X is already a beefy CPU with a 95W TDP.

I am aware that the 400-series has advantages such as PBO, XFR2 and StoreMI.

But I also heard that the X-series boards generally have better capacitors and VRM on then, which makes then better for powering an 8-core CPU.

I don't know about the advantages of Asus and Msi. All I know is that Msi is missing offset voltage.

Which one should I go with?
