Delay in loading tom's home page

When initially accessing tom's home page, I see a delay of perhaps10-15 seconds before any of the links on the page are responsive.
Once there, all runs as normal.

I suspect this has to do with some adware links that are not responding.
How can I figure out what is going on?

I'm running latest release of Chrome , no such issue with the loading or response in clicking the links for the forums. What browser? I tested Firefox and it seems decent , just a tad slower than chrome

I am running IE11.
I get a popup that says tom's is not responding.
But after perhaps 10 seconds all is well.

I do not get this on other of my pc's.
I suspect I have tried to block some doubleclick adware improperly.
