hi i have just purchased a single 34 ultrawide monitor to replace my dual monitor setup, the problem i'm having is with the taskbar, is there any software that can make my taskbar behave like a taskbar on a dual monitor setup where it can separate pages and files etc on the taskbar depending on which screen its on rather than bunch them up on one icon like a single monitor setup? i would be using the snapping function to make pages to behave like dual monitor setup but i would also like the taskbar to behave like dual monitor setup

Something that does some of what you are looking for, possibly all of it, is nVidia's nView.

https://www.nvidia.com/en-us/design-visualization/solutions/nview-display/

It does require a nVidia Quatro, NVS or Tesla, which means most people wont be able to use it, but you'd have to do a bit more research than I have to see if there is a way to bypass this requirement or convince nVidia to create a version that doesn't require it.

"The NVIDIA nView Desktop Manager supports NVIDIA Quadro, Quadro FX, NVIDIA NVS, Quadro NVS, and Tesla Q products."

Good luck with your search though.

thanks for the reply but i have already considered this but its no good as i use to use my dual monitor setup as my left screen as my main screen and right screen for pages that i need for reference, so ill be constantly looking to the right for reference so the virtual desktops are no good as ill need to keep switching back and forth through the desktops , mainly id want the pages open on the right side of the screen to show as separate icons on the right side of the task bar as it helps me organise the open pages and files that are open and navigate through them easier

That's not something I've heard of. We can go to taskbar settings and stop 10 from combining taskbar buttons but what you're asking for isn't something I am familiar with.
