import to new computer

i hate my new lenovo computer. how do i open the back up drive and pull computer programs and files to it? I do not understand computer geek and do not watch you tube. i want simple instructions to click and go.

If you buy a new computer, it should come with a new version of Windows. Programs such as Office, games, etc. have to be reinstalled via discs, flash drives, or downloads. Data can be copied to a USB flash drive via copy and paste, then copied to the new PC.
