Hey guys. So purchased a Hazro HZ27WC for a bargan price a while back to get on the higher than HD band wagon and I just brough a RTX 2080
To my horror, not a single DVI port which is a first for me in GPU purchasing for over 15 years. It has 1 HDMI and 3 DisplayPorts.
Tried all sorts of different conectors and setups but after a bit of researching it seems to be because its DVI-D (Dual Link) because of the higher than HD quality.
What should I realistically do? Money is tight and want to spend as little as possible. I love my Hazro 1400p monitor but I have seen DVI-D to HDMI converters which are over £100. Shocking
Thanks guys

P.S.
Thought I would quickly list what conectors I have tried and failed with
A full DVI-D to HDMI adapter. (Has all the dvi pins) was a tight fit so could only test with one HDMI cable which is the one that came iwth my vive so figured that would of worked (but didnt')
A dedicated DVI to HDMI cable (didnt have the middle DVI-D pins)
A DVI to Displayport dongle. Not the USB powered ones, just a standard box one.

Solution
You would need a DisplayPort to Dual-Link DVI active adapter which costs about $100, or a different graphics card. No way around it unfortunately.
