[SOLVED] No display new hardware

I have

Amd ryzen 3 2200g
4gb DDR4 HYPERX FURY
MSI X370 GAMING PLUS
500W THERMALTAKE PSU

Everything is working, fans are spinning and stuff. Motherboard lighting up. But it won't show any display not from the motherboard nor the GPU. I was told that the bios on my motherboard might not be compatible but, the motherboard was made for ryzen chips

yes motherboard supports your processor but first you have to update its bios.
and you only have option to buy ryzen 3 1200 or a6 9500 and update your bios.
or you can replace your motherboard (if it is new).

So if I were to get a new motherboard, what should I get? The ab350 or the b450

You have to buy B450 motherboard. Because 400 series motherboards are true 2nd gen motherboard.
