1060 6GB with a 75hz Freesync monitor

Hello,

i am getting a pc with a 1060 6GB graphics card and was planning on getting The AOC G2260VWQ6 21.5inch 75hz monitor with free sync, i know free sync doesn't work with nvidia graphics cards but for me to be able to achieve 75fps in games all i would need is a dp or HDMI that supports that ? or would i have to use vsync which i dont know much about, sorry if this is a rookie question,

Nvidia will add FreeSync support on Jan 15. Most likely it will be DisplayPort only.

Will this be on this monitor specifically I thought they were testing a certain amount ? Even without freesync would I still be able to get 75fps in games ?

They'll auto enable FreeSync on tested and approved monitors. The rest you can manually enable.
