[SOLVED] Why does Icons and Text look grainy/pixelated on Windows 10?

Hello! I just switched out my 24inch 60hz (1080p) monitor for a 27inch 144hz monitor. For some weird reason, text and icons look pixelated and its rather irritating. I have the correct resolution set up (to my knowledge). Any help appreciated.

Can you provide the details-monitor brand, does it have a windows driver ?, graphics card/ drivers , and where you see the resolution that you mention.

If you increased screen size but kept the same resolution(1080p) that is why.
