Would the B450 Tomahawk be a decent board for the 3700x? If not what else would you recommend.

The reason I ask is cuz I already have it for a Ryzen 2600 build I was going to build, but then decided to wait for the 3700x, and wanted to know if I should send it back or not.

I did see that the NVMe will block 2 of the 6 Sata ports on the Tomahawk, but that shouldn't be a big deal for me.

CPU - Ryzen 3700x

RAM - 16 GB GSKILL Flair X 3200

SSD - Samsung 970 Pro NVMe 512 GB

GPU - AMD RX 590 8 GB

PSU - Corsair CX750M

There is almost no information about Ryzen 3XXX yet, so no one will be able to give you an decent answer for this one. My advise would be to send it back, because it may be the case, that old mainboards will work with Ryzen 3XXX, but newer ones will work better (One thing is for sure: old AM4 mainboards will DEFINITLY work with Ryzen 3XXX)

And if you want to save some bucks, go for the adata sx8200 (pro) instead of the 970 Pro, its almost as fast as the samsung, but 50 bucks cheaper. At least in my country.
