[SOLVED] How to use both motherboard and gpu HDMI

So, my graphics card (GTX 1080) only has one HDMI port. since both my vr box and my monitor use HDMI, i cant use my monitor and have VR working at the same time. is it possible to use both the HDMI port on the motherboard and the HDMI port on the graphics card at the same time?

Specs:
CPU: Ryzen 5 2600x
Motherboard: MSI B350 PC MATE
Graphics Card: Gigabyte GTX 1080 WINDFORCE OC
RAM: 16GB Team DDR4 2400mhz (2x8)

No I didn't know what cpu you had going to have to use an adapter

You'll have to use an adapter, dp or dvi to hdmi.
