Hi

I have an athlon 1.3GHz (10x133MHz) and my asus probe
tells me that my core is 62°C. I know this is a little
high, much too high in fact. I have a volcanoII and arctic silverII compound. Could it be possible that the asus probe software gives me incorrect values?

tnx

yes, most people are saying that the Asusprobe (as well the BIOS) are off by about +10C. Therefore your temp is actually about 52C.

You can download a HACKED bios from http://www.braziliantech.com (1004FXD) which will fix that problem.

I have a 1Ghz Tbird in an A7V133 with also a VolcanoII and artic silver. I lapped the heatsink and applied artic silver and my temps are 35C idle and 46C load.
