More about mobo 100
  1. If you can affor to go just 20 more, you can get a really excellent board.
    Gigabyte Z77X-UD3H S1155 Intel Z77 DDR3 ATX
    http://www.dabs.com/products/gigabyte-z77x-ud3h-s1155-intel-z77-ddr3-atx-8005.html?refs=4294943314-13&src=3

Has all the bells and whistles, and is part of Gigabytes Ultra Durable series of boards, which are really built well.

How good are asus? just need something under £100 that runs ok and can fit either a radeon 7850 or gtx 670, depends on what i have left.
  3. Asus are a direct competitor to Gigabyte. I really recommend that Gigabyte board above for 119 though

If you insist on an Asus board, the one that I recommend for 114 is the following:

    Asus P8Z77-V LK S1155 Intel Z77 DDR3 ATX
    http://www.dabs.com/products/asus-p8z77-v-lk-s1155-intel-z77-ddr3-atx-81WY.html?src=12

There's really no board I would recommend at the 100 or below level.

I'm just wondering, why not the one i picked out, like just wondering why you think your two are better.
  5. The reason I don't like that baord is because it only has 2 USB 3 ports on the back, no provision for USB 3 on the front panel.

It also has a lower quality sound chip, which would definitely be noticeable in comparison to the other boards.

It also has a weak power handling section. You have to read through some crap at the Asus site to see that bit of info.

I've added your asus mobo but if i need to save money I might have to go for a the cheaper one.
