You may have seen my previous thread when I was contemplating between AMD and Intel for my cpu.
I have since chosen to go with the i5-2500k
I would like some advice on the best motherboard, around £100 but can go higher, to get a decent overclock out of this CPU. I'm aiming for 4.5GHz but above that would be awesome.
I have no preference to manufacturer but I am a little sceptical of BioStar boards. If you can prove to me otherwise why I should go for a BioStar, then i'm all ears.
Along with being a good overclocker I am also looking for SLi and/or CrossFire capabilities both running at x16.
I will be using the system primarily for gaming, but also for some software development at some point.
Any links to go with the information you provide would be appreciated.
