Is this alot of money for a general computer that im spending here?

Here are the specifications
Phenom 955 x4
4gb of ram
5770 1gb graphics card
250gb hybrid ssd/hdd (basically inbetween an ssd and a hdd)
450 watt psu
very good upgradable am3+ mobo (even has crossfire and sata 6gb and usb 3.0)

But, i feel like im just wasting money here. Is 460 quid for this, or even for normal pc a waste?

Im not even sure if im going to be gaming ALOT. And i got that mobo because i want to upgrade to am4 cpu's in the future :)

Well if you can do the above for £360 with postage then get it, cos i cant. But beware of cheap PSU never scrimp on its cost its the most important piece of hardware.

you took words out of my mouth yes do it for £360!!!crikey ive now relised that the almost £800 i paid for mine exactly one year ago now(methinks i might have paid a little over the top)thanks to pcworld...im using i3 560 clarkdale(which im well happy with still..)@3.07mhz nvidia 320 1Gb(which rox) on Bfbc2,TF2-60-80fps!!...sometimes over 100!!! which ive never been fortunate to do...to me this was the ultimate gaming rig for under 800quid@the time, buying from pcworld instead of online...as never again will i by from online stockists only, wait till you get probs, youl see what im on about!....so i dont mind say paying around extra 100 quid or there abouts(i bought 1stnov 2010 btw)...my pc is still quiet as a mouse! according to some site bf3 is outa my range but we will see as the beta ran just great!!yeh i know its a beta but....so yeh back to ur question mate under 400 quid go for it....at the time i could have got an i5 which was next to mine and almopst 100 quid cheaper too,but the gfx card wasnt any good, and it was only 2.5 mhz where mine is 3.07...i was even thinking about taking loan and buying alienware etc for around 2500,glad i didnt,if you can get a little more ~£££ then do it,because these days i dont think you need to spend as much as we used to get an excellent gaming rig...imo that is....
