the E6850 processor should fit the P5LP-LE motherboard right? i am just wanting to be 100 percent sure before i purchase this processor.

Well, from the links you've provided the motheroboard supports up to 1066Mhz Front Side Bus, but the E6850 processor uses a 1333Mhz Front Side Bus.

That certainly doesn't give me a warm and fuzzy that they're gonna work well together.
