Set up is:

600W Seasonic PSU
7900GT
E6300

Looking for 2GB of memory, fastest possible to work well with the motherboard and my E6300. I like the look of the Asus Striker, but is the huge pricetag worth it? I like the look of the LCD status screen, especially since I have had all of the above parts for a while now and have worries of them being broken/problematic after I took them out last rig (MB and memory went faulty :( so hence the £310 spending money ). So how much will the LCD tell me in terms of... component x is not working =/? But buying the striker leaves £80 for memory... tight budget.

Any suggestions to maximise performance with what I have? I'm not majorly into overclocking especially since I only have a 7900GT most games wont benefit much from an OC... Although it's something I would always like to do in the future... especially after reading about the OC capability of the E6300.

Thanks

Since you've got roughly $600 to burn go for an nForce i680 and 2GB of Corsair XMS DDR2. I've used their RAM for a grip now and never had a module die. Spare no expense.
