Hi.
Bought an old computer with an asus P2B and installed w2k on it. works
fine except for the fact that it wont boot properly unless a monitor
is connected (only monitor cable is not enough). I have no idea why.
The system just halts. No signal is detected if I connect the monitor
when the system has halted. I´ve searched the bios-settings (updated
to latest bios version (beta3)) without luck. Anyone with knowledge
about this? It would make my life so much easier :)

regards

Errors", or something along those lines, it's been a while since I had a
P2B.

Hi and thanks. Found that setting after trying to boot without keybord
:) Doesn´t solve the monitor issue though :-( I bought a 20m monitor
cable yesterday to solve it temporarily, would be nice to know how to
boot without the darn cable.

This is the graphics card's fault (or rather that of its BIOS). Simply
use another card.

Thanks for that - I was wondering why my headless P2Bs don't have this
problem.
