Hi,

I bought (after reading some articles at THG) a GIGABYTE GA-7VRXP. The BIOS is the last version (f10). I have a Seagate 80GB HD (master in IDE 1), a IBM 16GB (master in IDE 2) a YAMAHA CDRW 4616 SCSI attached to a adaptatec AHA-2940, and finally an ASUS AS-400 CDROM.
It does not matter where and how ( IDE 1,2,3 or 4, as master or as slave) I connect this CDROM, it only works for the first reboot, aftewards the CDROM is detected by the BIOS but it is not possible to boot from it, and in Windows XP it is detected, but it is not possible to access it.

Hope someone can help. I have tried everything, even writing to Gigabyte :-( .Of course, no answer.

Regards, David
