Here is what I have come up with so far:
CPU: AMD Phenom II x4 965 BE - £69.00 from WAE+
MOBO: Gigabyte GA-970A-DS3 - £53 from ebuyer
HDD: Seagate 500GB 3.5" SATA lll 6GB/s - £47 from ebuyer
Case and PSU: Coolermaster Elite 330 Case With Coolermaster eXtreme Power 500W PSU - £58 from ebuyer
RAM: Crucial 8GB DDR3 1600 Mhz - £30 from ebuyer
Video Card: Sapphire 7850 2GB - £135 from WAE+
TOTAL: 392 give or take a bit, with delivery.
Already have an optical drive, mouse and keyboard.
My worries are with the PSU, whether or not if it can be relied upon, also I have a 27" 1080p LCD TV but I think it might be too big as my university room is rather small, how do TVs compare with monitors, it has a HDMI connection so it can connect to the 7850 with just a HDMI cable.
Any improvements to to performance or decreasing price, I was thinking of just overclocking the GPU and CPU in a few years if they start to lag behind but with that I will make sure to add sufficient cooling and such.
Many Thanks,
