All in takes you about £20 over budget. I know you said no overclcoking and the CPU is overclockable but your budget allows it and in future the ability to OC can add life to that system

Both look great but neither will be particularly quiet. The HD 7970 will have amazing performance but I think it is likely to be pretty loud.

The second build has a less power hungry PSU but the Samsung F3 is known for being quite loud and Antec's cheaper fans aren't all that quiet.

I'm not saying either of those builds will be intolerably loud, just not quiet.

There's something for just under £800 that should be extremely quiet with awesome performance. So long as the case is a good one geared for quietness as well, you should be set. Fractal Design Define Mini perhaps? It's missing a storage drive as well, I'd only get one if you need it.

Gigabyte isn't using the reference cooler, and Windforce x3 is known for being quiet, I believe.

Spinpoint F3 I doubt is any louder than other HDDs.
