Intel i5 3570k 3.4GHz
MSI z77a-g45
Sapphire hd 7770 oc
Corsair 8gb vengence ram
WD 1TB caviar grenn HDD 7200rpm 64mb cache
Corsair 600w cx series v2 psu
Tp link wireless-n150 PCLe card
Pioneer dvd+rw

My screen resolution is 1920x1080 ( it a hd tv)
Also i have no brand loyalty so would change to other brands like AMD instead of intel etc

You don't need 600w, and XFX 550w would be better choice for PSU.
The processor and motherboard are designed for CPU overclocking, but, in order to do that, you need an aftermarket cooler (suggest CoolerMaster Hyper 212Evo), for CPU, and low profile RAM (suggest Crucial Ballistic Sport, or GSKill Ares), to avoid a clash.
If you don't want to overclock, you could save money on an i5-3550, and say Asus P8H77M motherboard. You could use that saving to get a better graphics card, like HD7850, or even HD7870, which will give much improved gaming performance. All you would need, then, to get a really nice rig, would be an SSD (something like 128GB Samsung 830, or Crucial M4). You can do that later, when funds allow.

Agree with malbluff, for gaming the most money in the GPU is the important thing and the cheapest quad core from intel (i5 3450) will keep up with all but the most extreme graphics system (e.g. 2x GTX 690's). You can't overclock but it's well worth it for a gamer.

Is i5-3450 still generally available. I know Intel are dropping it, and it's not on some price lists, anymore?

He doesn't need a case so you're actually within his budget. He could probably save some more money by going with an H77 motherboard. Also I'd spend a little more to get 1600 MHz memory.

Edit:
For instance:

Looks ideal build for OP. Needs to add in wireless card, but they're cheap enough.

I thought the OP needed a case as it was in his suggested build. If you can re-use your existing case an then get a 7870 as suggested above you should go for it.

Would I be better of getting a full size atx motherboard than a micro so there is more space for wiring?? Thanks for all the advice so far

The only thing you really lose, with mATX, is the number of expansion slots, but with better on-board sound, and more potent graphics cards, the need for a lot of expansions, is less these days. Having said that, some manufacturers tend to "cheap out" on their mATX boards. I would be a lot happier with a mATX from, say, Asus, than from some.

Everything looks good, but get the PSU lighter17 suggested. 500w is a bad zone for your setup.
I also don't know half the stores/retailers you listed so here, I helped you out a bit:

^^^ everything in that system is great except for the optical drive lol. Sony optical drive's aren't very good. I've had 3 of them fail in a single year while my 2 year old HP and ASUS drives are still kicking.

@jaideep1337 - I just picked out the cheapest optical drive in the list :p Feel free to suggest a better one.

That list is outdated. Corsair Vengeance runs perfectly fine on the mobo.
