this is my build so far. I was aiming for a gaming pc that can play high setting. I'm just getting into the pc scene so I'll be getting ALOT of different games :) any help would be appreciated

Very good. The only thing I would recommend, if finances allow, is the addition of an SSD, something like a 128GB Samsung 830. They really are worth the cost, for the snappier performance, all round.
Don't forget an aftermarket cooler, if you want to overclock.
