Approximate Purchase Date: e.g.: this week (the closer the better)

Budget Range: £400-£500 (not including delivery fee's)

System Usage from Most to Least Important: Gaming

Are you buying a monitor: No

Parts to Upgrade: New build

Do you need to buy OS: No

Preferred Website(s) for Parts: Micro direct, amazon

Location: City, State/Region, Country - England

Parts Preferences: by brand or type: intel

Overclocking: Maybe- dont really know how to overclock

SLI or Crossfire: Maybe- dont know what this is

Your Monitor Resolution: 1680x1050

Additional Comments: My current gaming pc, is quite old.. and takes a while to load up to windows, also struggling to play games like d3 smoothly (even on low).

And Most Importantly, Why Are You Upgrading: I would like to have at least 1tb, a decent g-card/cpu for games like d3, upcoming guild wars 2, starcraft 2, WoW and hopefully most upcoming games!

Many thanks in advance

Hey thanks for the build, i was just wondering spicy, gave me a build listed above, its the radeon 6870, it costs i think 150 pounds, why is it that the 7770 costs less? when surely it is newer?
August 16, 2012 5:17:33 PM

The 7770 is not as good as the 6870.... Yes it is newer but that doesn't mean a Whole lot exept a tab bit of power maybe, i would go with the intel build because it has a upgrade path and you can max bf3 at 1980x1080 with a good 30+ fps average. Also the 660ti just came out today so that means that 560ti will probably drop in price and it is a tad better then the 6870 if you can pick that up...

The HDD is fine i have it its not slow at all and will do you just fine unless you want more storage
August 16, 2012 5:26:35 PM

wait....you cant use a i5 on a am3+ board...what is this sorcery?
August 16, 2012 5:28:12 PM

crap didn't see that wtf are you reccomending dans? are you stooopid?
August 16, 2012 6:03:49 PM

Imagine if the OP bought his build...so much frustration...so much anger @_@
