Approximate Purchase Date: e.g.: As soon as possible

Budget Range: £600-650, preferably cheaper

System Usage from Most to Least Important: Gaming, gaming, gaming

Are you buying a monitor: No

Parts to Upgrade: All

Do you need to buy OS: Yes

Preferred Website(s) for Parts: Overclockers, dabs, ccl, etc. would prefer if it were all on one website to save shipping.

Location: City, State/Region, Country: Maidstone, Kent, England

Parts Preferences: Intel CPU preferably

Overclocking: Possible, if budget allows

SLI or Crossfire: Possibly in a few months

Your Monitor Resolution: 1680x1050

Additional Comments: I would prefer a nicer looking case, like the shinobi.

And Most Importantly, Why Are You Upgrading: Laptop is in an unusable state.

Ideally, I would like the cost of the pc to be towards the £600 mark - the cheaper the better.
The sort of games I would be looking to play are bf3, diablo 3, guild wars 2(alot), wow, etc.

This comes out to about 663$ but you can get the case of your choice and if your budget allows you could upgrade to a 7850 now or in the future however at that res i would expect probably 60+ average fps on high for bf3 im sorry about all newegg but, yea for you the total is about 538 so i guess yes you can get a 7850 if you so chose, or get a 3570k/ asrock z77 pro3 up to you
