Hi, looking for some build advice - its been three years since my last build and I am out of the loop of what the best parts are also what works best together. I want to be able to max out anything I throw at this thing games wise and its prob got to last for a few years and be able to upgrade. If there is any tech that is coming out in the next couple of months that is worth waiting for this is an option.

Approximate Purchase Date: End of August - end of September

Budget Range: £1000-£1800

System Usage from Most to Least Important: GAMING / general use office / surfing the internet / watching movies / occasionally some graphics (wacom tablet) photo editing.

Are you buying a monitor: Yes - Must connect through HDMI (unless somebody points out that there really isn't any difference) / 24inch and up - possibility for multiple monitor setup in future

Parts to Upgrade: None

Do you need to buy OS: No - Windows 7 Ultimate 64bit

Preferred Website(s) for Parts: No idea - don't mind (preferably ships from inside UK)

Location: Central London

Parts Preferences: Prefer i7 - don't mind AMD or Nvidia what ever is producing the best cards and are compatible with most modern and future games.

Overclocking: Maybe - don't know much about overclocking - don't want an unstable rig.

SLI or Crossfire: Don't mind what ever cranks out the most power and will still be compatible.

Your Monitor Resolution:1900x1200 or 1900x1080 can be greater than this.

Additional Comments: Have mouse and keyboard and Logitech G51's / Would need about 2tb of space no particular preference to SSD but maybe small one for OS and then mechanical for storage / sound card if onboard one is not good / Don't mind water cooled, but have no experience maintaining or building that / Do not care for 3D at all.

And Most Importantly, Why Are You Upgrading: I have no pc at the moment sold my last one last year and have been PC less and desperate to game - stranded on console at the moment.

Thanks if there is anything else you would like to know I will be checking often. :bounce:
