|| Total (including shipping and VAT) ||
Low configuration =
£1533.14
Highlights: 1x GTX 670, 24-inch monitor
Remarks: You could add a second 670 when prices do down a bit. In case you do not want to invest those 2 grand all at once, then you could try out this configuration and understand if you need an additional 670 and 2 more monitors depending on the games you play.
Medium configuration =
£1719.35
Highlights: 1x GTX 680, 27-inch monitor
Remarks: Obviously powerful than the previous configuration. Go for the 27-inch monitor if you have space in your room to sit back. 27-inch is quite big for you to you to be seated closer to the monitor. 4-5 feet should be optimum.
High configuration =
£2107.41
Highlights: 2x GTX 670, 3x 24-inch monitor
Remarks: Do not go for dual displays for gaming. 1 or 3 is the best. This could serve you for a really long time.
General remarks/suggestions: 1) You can consider SSD as optional if speed doesn't matter to you in general use (movies/browsing). 2) Some people would point out that 750W is too much for a single GPU (or even a SLI) setup. In my (educated) opinion, a PSU provides output at max. rated efficiency at around 50-75% load (it also runs cool and quiet within this range). If we target to place the estimated system load within this range, it will add to the PSU's longevity as well as feel lighter on your pocket (savings on power bills in a long run). The PSU is a 80-plus bronze and I estimate the low, medium and high configuration stated here would draw around 350W, 420W and 550W respectively.
You can decide which components you want to select/change/ignore. Anyway, I wish you good luck!
Cheers!
Edit: Updated the price of thermal paste - missed the shipping charges.
