Hey everyone. This will be my first time building a pc. I want to be able to play games like minecraft, portal 2 and battlefield

Unfortunately your budget only allows for a i3 dual core cpu, which is ok for now, but as games start to use more that 2 cores you will be wishing you had a quad core. a i5 3450 quad core adds about £57 to the build. you can always upgrade to later the MB will support it.

I used all solid components and a GTX 560 which is the lowest I recommend gaming at 1920x1080. It will allow for high/very high settings in most games.
