Approximate Purchase Date: This week

Budget Range: Up to £550 - I have £440 in Amazon voucher which must be used give or take £10-20

System Usage from Most to Least Important: Gaming,movies/downloaded tv shows,

Parts Not Required: keyboard, mouse, monitor, speakers, OS

Preferred Website(s) for Parts: Amazon - I have £440 in Amazon voucher which must be used give or take £10-20

Country: United Kingdom - I'm located in London

Parts Preferences: i5 processor, graphics must be able to handle atleast medium settings for most games but high is preferred...

Overclocking: Yes

SLI or Crossfire: Maybe

Monitor Resolution:Current 1440 x 900 but will be buying a 1080p TV monintor.

You can use the stock cooler that comes with the i3 or pay £15 - £25 extra for a larger better cooler to overclock.

For your £20 more you get a true quad core (not a hyperthreaded dual core i3), an extra 250GB of HDD space and a better set of RAM sticks. As with the other build couldn't fit in an overclockable CPU and have enough budget for a decent GPU but as you're gaming i don't think you;ll have any problems with it.

Well blow me... It is a dual core, sorry. It said quad core in the title I just figured that amazon has no reason to lie.

I just designed you an epic desktop, IVY-BRIDGE i5, better RAM, double the Hard drive capacity and a better GPU for a near end budget of £543

All of the links and everything were there, as soon as I posted the thing the internet cut out, I can't be arsed doing it all again so just accept what you've got.

If you wanted to spend upto the £550 change out the 6870 for a 7850 (goes for around £180)
