More about rate build 700
  1. A few things

The MoBo does not suport SLI/CROSSFIRE So get one that does or look into a 550W PSU

PSU Over kill for a single card setup

The ram is over kill you only need 4 gigs for gaming Also that set is wrong for your mobo yes you can use it, put in wont be in Dule mode

Look for a nice 4 or 8gb set of ram
  2. Hi, i have amended the build, i have:

    Downgraded the PSU
    Downgraded the RAM
I will not be crossfiring so the Mobo will be ok i think.

Will the RAM work ok ?

Could you recommend a monitor since the price has been cut a little. Looking for a 22" Full HD. £100 sound about right for one?

    MoBo with Newer Chipset http://pcpartpicker.com/uk/part/asrock-motherboard-z77pro3

    GPU http://pcpartpicker.com/uk/part/asus-video-card-engtx560tidc2top2di2gd5

  6. Thanks a lot for your help dude !

Ive added in the Mobo and changed over the GPU and found a good monitor on Amazon.

What sort of performance should i see from this build, in terms of BF3/WoW ?
  7. Case - Cooler Master Storm Enforcer ATX Mid Tower- £59.99

Nice case im using it right now on my new build!!!!!!!!!
  8. be careful with PSU, its not about what wattage is labelled, its about how efficient and clean the power provided is. Xigmatek 700w PSU is a very nice PSU. Also i am not sure why you would want to change to gtx560, the HD7850 2GB is a very nice card. If you did go for the Xigmatek 700w PSU you could look around for one of the remaining gtx480 cards on the market for about £200, a real beast :)

It seems i miss read something

    The 7850 would be a better GPU ( I stand Corected )

@ 1920X1080 you should be able to play BF3 nice and smooth
  10. Thanks guys.

I think im pretty much set to start ordering.

One last question, can you recommend software that can track cpu/gpu temp etc or will this be built into the Mobo ?
  11. RealTemp for Temps, GPU-Z for GPU temps.

XFX make rock solid PSU's. Absolutely no issue here with the PSU whatsoever. Not to mention its Bronze rated anyway and 550w is more than enough for the proposed build.
