£750-£1k gaming system for the future

Budget Range: £750-£1k
System Usage from Most to Least Important: Gaming.
Parts Not Required: CPU. Will use Celeron G530 until Ivy Bridge release (unless MB is incompatible, I could buy a cheap processor if necessary, but with just a month [rumors of June are false] to Ivy Bridge, would prefer not)

Parts Preferences:

22nm/Ivy Bridge compatible MB (would it make sense to wait? why go for deluxe versions? motherboard is the component I struggle most with understanding... )

GTX 680 required, 60gb+ SSD (any point with bigger?), 8gb+ ram. Tower should be light, with plenty of cooling. 500gb+ HDD. No monitors, keyboard/mice/etc needed.

Overclocking? Don't know. Cost vs benefit? Opinions?

Buy sandy bridge; there will be hardly any difference between that and ivy and a celeron will seriously bottleneck your system
