More about 600 gaming system
  1. for an extra £25-30 you can get the i5-2500k or the 2500 for £20 uf you not o/cking

get a gigabyte z68 board for £80apprx you can still get usb3.0

Fot an extra £20 you can get a wd HDD with 64mb cache and 750gb

    modular psu are nice :)

for the same money you can get a 6850!

with saving on mobo and spending extra thats a grand total of an extra £30
  2. Have a look at this build:

    https://secure.scan.co.uk/aspnet/Shop/SavedBasket/Show.aspx?id=298ed3588ebe43cba79890109c0b03a6

It's £22 over your budget, but is a decent mid-range build. At the res you play at, you could easily get away with a 6850 or 460, but you'd hamper yourself if / when you upgraded to a 1080p monitor later on.
  3. Intel i5 2500k £165
    Gtx 560 ti £150
    8gb g skill ram £40
    Asus p8z68 lx £75
    Wd caviar blue £65
    Ocz 600w psu £50
    Antec three hundred case £50
    Liteon Dvd wrtier £10

The HDD and 4GB of RAM would be fine for a gaming system on that budget...they can always be upgraded later. Same for the RAM. :)
